homeless wanderer

Almost 2 weeks ago I found myself doing research so that I might be as prepared as possible- the transition to homelessness was rapidly approaching and although it is far from an unfamiliar issue to me, it had always been an issue, not my reality. I don't think I ever thought I would be studying a page like this for my own personal survival:


I ended up deciding to enter into this new season of life in the same way that I process most big shifts in my life- with a road trip.


There are truly few things I enjoy more than a road trip on my own with my car (this is Hulk's first big trip, Henry was an old pro) and my big ol' stuffed dog. Thus far, this trip has been one of the better ones, and I'm not even halfway into it.  This has been a trip less about seeing people and places and whatever, and more about just letting myself BE, away from the confusing circumstances in MN, and in the beautiful country.  So I am currently camped out at "D" and loving it.

Now, just for a little laugh...

When I was doing my research, I read a lot of stuff.  This was a blog of a guy who wanted to help other homeless folks out with some advice.  On this page he was listing the various options about where to sleep, and the pros and cons of each option.  And then it got to this one:
