little things

There are no little things in God's economy. The widow's two coins were given as an example for the greatest giving. That's the only story I can think of... But it's true. God doesn't look at some tasks as a big deal and others as a little deal. Everything done for the kingdom is a huge deal, and everything done against the kingdom is a huge deal. There are no little things. And there is no neutrality. Either you are working for the kingdom or you are working against it. C.H. Spurgeon viewed no thing as a little thing when it came to the calling on His life. I want to be more like that. Saying hi to the person on the street and showing them Christ's love in kindness is as important as feeding an entire village, as long as you are in step with God's calling on your life. Don't minimize that which God calls you to do, just because the world looks on it different. Try to see your life and work through God's eyes rather than looking through the world's eyes. There are no little things. Do what God is calling you to do and give it all your heart. He will bless you and your work when it is in alignment with His will. I'm preaching to myself here...
